This is another newly created role by ICIB which aims to drive initiative, growth and success for both yourself and the business. It is a unique opportunity offering equity from day one, meaning you will most certainly reap the rewards of your efforts.

Acting as the lead broker in Tauranga and reporting to the Director of Broking, it will suit someone who absolutely thrives in a sales/business development environment, especially, given the first few years will be all about initiating and developing new business opportunities.

Some of your deliverables include:

- developing and managing your prospect pipeline
- managing relationships and prospects through to becoming clients
- developing proposals
- developing business development strategies
- building and mentoring a team
- building solid relationships with nationwide insurers

**So Who Are You & What is Your Profile?**

This is the perfect opportunity for a highly experienced individual to really create something that they can call their own. It requires drive, creativity, technical expertise and exceptional relationship building skills. You need to come with a minimum of 10 years commercial insurance experience which need not have been specialised.

As with any new business, you will need to be tenacious and resourceful. A private business has the advantage of autonomy and agility but it also means there is more of an onus on you when it comes to the strategy and its successful execution. You will be a part of the ICIB nationwide team and will have support networks to help you succeed.

In order to be considered you also need to be qualified either as a Senior Associate Broker, General Insurance ANZIIF or similar and either be Level 5 certified or FSP registered with your Level 5 in progress.
