Reporting into the Finance Services Manager, we are seeking a Finance Services Officer to support a highly engaged, collaborative and supportive finance team with their credit control.

**Some focus areas will include**:

- Escalate collection issues as required to Team Leader/Manager or other operational and finance stakeholders per approved escalation guidelines as required.
- Facilitate client settlement negotiations as approved per delegation of authority.
- Assist in arranging internal legal services or external debt collection services as required.
- Assist the Team Leader/Manager with the completion of any credit control reporting and analysis requirements.
- Receipt all monies relating to debtor payments being via EFT, cheque and credit card payments as required.
- Track banking progress daily and monitor against target collections as issued by Group Finance.

**About you**:

- Experience in a similar Credit Control/Collections role or experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Strong communication skills, able to communicate and explain regulations, policies, processes, and guidelines in plain English.
- Strong attention to detail and proficient in collating, organising and analysing data.
- Strong ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload whilst being able to show initiative as well as problem solve.
- Excellent coordination skills with understanding of when to escalate issues.
- Strong MS teams and BST system will be highly regarded but not essential.

This role would suit a junior accounts clerk who is wishing to work for a larger organisation who will provide career progression for someone who is passionate to support a diverse group of stakeholders.
