We are seeking an experienced leader to drive results in our Halswell Distribution Team. Reporting into our National Logistics Manager, this role is responsible for the daily operational leadership and engagement of our Halswell Distribution Centre, leading a team of 7.

Working as part of the Supply and Distribution team, your general responsibilities include coordinating labour with the daily workload requirements and ensuring the team are fully motivated to deliver consistently superior customer service. Working as the Distribution Team Leader, you will also oversee the operational coordination of sourcing, inbound freight, execution of internal distribution centre processes, put away and replenishment to name a few.

This is a ‘hands on’ role, so you’ll play an active part in working alongside your team as well as developing them to deliver exceptional service daily. Alongside great communication skills, you’ll be a natural problem solver and outcome oriented.

**We're seeking someone who**:

- Has experience in leading a team in a Distribution/Warehouse environment
- Has container loading and unloading experience with certification (TFO - Transitional Facility Operator and or AP - Accredited Person) and familiar with shipping documentation and paperwork.
- Is an inspiring, purposeful and effective leader who thinks outside the box
- Has a current forkhoist licence and experience using reach equipment.
- Understands the importance of building a collaborative and values-driven culture where people can perform at their best
- Has experience in using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) - at present we use Microsoft Dynamics365 Advance Warehouse Management
