We are looking for a Data & Analytics Senior Specialist. This role will be a key member of the data and analytics community with a vision for data and analytics to be a part of the organisation’s fabric and operating rhythm.

Success in the role will see the championing of the enterprise-wide self-serve visual hub of business performance; deep-dive analysis; and the day-to-day management of ad-hoc requests, leading to more informed stakeholders who feel confident in their fact based decisioning.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Assisting with the creation of common and uniformed ways of working with data
- Championing enterprise-wide self-serve visual hub of business performance
- Working in conjunction with the actuarial and finance teams, implementing a variety of data analysis techniques to answer key business challenges
- Managing and delivering to ad-hoc requests
- Assisting the data and analytics community and cross-functional teams to implement action stemming from analytics work, measuring success, and feeding the learnings back through the data and analytics spectrum

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Approx. 8-years of industry experience working hands on with enterprise systems, data extraction and interrogation, reporting, and analysis
- Liaising with business stakeholders to drive results
- Ideally Implementation of data science techniques to answer business challenges
- Insurance experience is highly desirable but not essential
- Data extraction and manipulation
- Report writing, data visualisation, and storytelling
- Data analysis, interpretation, and communication
- Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI (or similar), Excel
- Ideally R, Python versed
