H2R Technology are supporting a Private NZ owned and operated organisation recruit a highly skilled Data Analyst / Reporting Analyst with experience in AWS technologies to join the team.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, creating insightful reports, and developing dashboards for business leaders. You will work closely with the development and infrastructure teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity, as well as with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver insights that support their decision-making processes.

This is a newly created role that will be part of our client’s continued investment in technology capabilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze large datasets and create insightful reports and dashboards using tools such as AWS QuickSight, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify reporting requirements and deliver insights that support their decision-making processes.
- Contribute to data strategy and governance implementation and management.
- Management and maintenance of data warehouse technologies, currently Redshift and DBT.
- Collaborate with the development and infrastructure teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Identify data quality issues and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
- Develop and maintain data models and data visualizations to support business reporting needs.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data management, analysis and reporting.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, DBT, Redshift, and QuickSight.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis.
- Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Zoho Analytics.
- Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
