Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
It is important that we are able to measure how we are doing when it comes to caring for our community and the region, and that we are able to compare ourselves to other centres in Australasia, so that we can be assured that we are doing well, and we can reassure others.
We are seeking to recruit a data manager to consolidate and improve our data capture and management practices. The focus of the role will initially be compliance with the data collection and reporting requirements of the Australia and New Zealand Intensive Care Society but will in time also extend to other data collection and management activities more broadly.
This will require on-site interaction with clinical staff in ICU, a familiarity with clinical terms and settings, and competency with the use and development of database tools. We are able to offer flexible working hours and an interesting and vibrant working environment.
