Our Senior Line One Risk Managers offer risk management leadership advice to a wide range of Kiwibank stakeholders. You'll work closely with the wider risk team and be their trusted advisor and thought leader. We want you to be part of the team taking our risk transformation journey to the next level.

There will be more than spreadsheets and risk registers in this role, this is about bringing risk management to life As well as sharing results with the Executive team and Leadership teams, You'll be part of the team creating a world-class line one risk function that is modern and proactive, positioning Kiwibank for the future of banking.

As a people person and curious individual, you will work to modernise Kiwibank's risk and control maturity to prepare it for the future. In designing controls for the future, you are already thinking about modern risks and mitigations.

As a senior risk leader with extensive experience in banking, you know how to make risk sound fun Your approach to risk and experience in engaging others in risk management and being a thought leader are the main things we are looking for, but if you have some or all of the below, that's great too:

- Experience implementing regulatory change, and operational risk strategy and procedures at an enterprise level.
- Experience with managing digital and automation risk or transformation / change risk
- Significant knowledge of legislation such as CCCFA, Financial Advisors Act, Privacy Act, FMCA and BS11 - although we know you might not know them all.
- Confidence in presenting information to groups and coaching stakeholders

Your employment would start with us during a period of community transmission of Covid-19 throughout New Zealand. As a business operating in that environment, we have responsibilities under the Health and Safety Act 2015 to minimise the risk that our workers might catch or transmit Covid-19 while at work.

Being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is therefore a condition of all roles with Kiwibank for any new employee who is able to be vaccinated. Your employment would be conditional on you being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and providing us with evidence of this.

Under the current Covid Red traffic light framework, you will be required to work from home. It's essential that you have suitable broadband internet, private workspace with your own desk and chair. Technology, including a laptop and headset will be provided. Once the Covid restrictions ease you will be welcomed back into the Lower Hutt or Hastings centres, with continued flexibility to work from home.
