**About the opportunity**

As the Plant Manager for our Te Awamutu Powder Plant, reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for inspiring a team to deliver world class manufacturing performance in powder products. You will play an integral role in the Site Leadership team, adding value with your thought leadership across the site, direction setting and delivery of site strategies.

You’ll coach and develop your team to enable them to achieve excellence in health and safety, food safety and quality, engagement, asset management, continuous improvement, sustainability and customer service. Our strong focus on our environmental impact means you will also be part of sustainability improvement projects.

**About you**

You will be a leader with a strong ability to influence, passion for improvements, as well as a proven focus on transformational change and plant/operational experience.

With a natural ability to build high performing teams and engage diverse groups of stakeholders, you will develop and strengthen key relationships across the business. You will contribute your:

- Inclusive and supportive coaching skills, with the ability to make recommendations and develop team capabilities
- Resilience and ability to influence, explaining the how, what and why
- Experience in engagement and operational performance improvement
- Strong commercial acumen and communication skills.
- Robust decision making skills, supported by Good Together_/ our values_

A strong base of leadership experience in manufacturing will be key to your success. If you have dairy experience, even better, however, this is not essential.
