ABOUT THE ROLE

The Enterprise Architect is a key role in enabling our client to deliver on its strategic and operational outcomes. It is a major contributor in the definition of enterprise solutions that meet the business and sector needs and complies with standards, technology governance, and guidelines.

This role also incorporates a Practice Lead aspect but without the direct people management responsibilities, to drive enterprise architecture outcomes.

The wider Architecture practice is tiered into Solution Architects and Portfolio Architects aligned across broad service lines, and our client is looking for someone who can operate in a more digitally orientated operating model, drive a strategic enterprise architecture work programme, and build practice capability.

You will be strategic and collaborative across internal teams driving the inception and implementation of enterprise architecture, methodology & standards within the business.

DUTIES
- Lead and contribute to the formation and implementation of the enterprise architecture, methodology and standards
- Lead the adoption and implementation of architecture and continuous improvement frameworks
- Inform the long-term investment planning and asset planning process
- Ensure enterprise architecture practices advance strategic objectives
- Keep current with global digital trends in ensuring appropriate and current technology solutions are applied to the business
- Work closely with the architecture practice to support the development of digital products and services
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong enterprise and business architecture experience in large complex organisations
- Demonstrated business process improvement expertise
- Proven ability to consult and advise executives and their teams for effective technology decision making
- Ability to lead the development of enterprise architecture collaboratively and consultatively
- Experience working as a strategic influencer across organisational business groups with varying unit goals but shared organisational goals
- Tertiary degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; and a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Relevant industry or technical qualifications and / or certifications
- Practice Lead or Portfolio Management experience would be advantageous
