Description
We are on the hunt for a motivated Purchasing Officer to join our friendly team at our head office in Manukau This is a perfect role for a fresh graduate who is attention to details with a can-do attitude.

**Main Task & Responsibilities**:

- Manage the end to end product order process, ensuring all tasks undertaken are procedurally correct, efficient and effective.
- Monitor shortfall stock and place backorders with suppliers in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records at all times.
- Regularly assess product range on offer and decide on the quantity of each product that needs to be stored based on sales data and customer feedback, ensuring that products and parts are available to meet customer demand.
- Determine which suppliers to use for different parts; source products from overseas suppliers
- Maintain accurate records of product information in the system on a daily basis, including the creation of new product codes and the review and updating of product pricing.
- Monitor stock levels on a daily basis, maintaining stock at agreed levels at all times and ensuring tasks are completed on time, to quality and procedural standards.
- Run product reports on a daily basis to check service parts stock levels and place orders with suppliers if stock levels are under agreed quantity.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification relating to Business/Trading/Supply Chain or other related Majors.
- Knowledge on computer products, relevant industry experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Organizing, multi-tasking with strong sense of deadlines and urgency.
- Excellent computer skills and ERP system experience is a plus.
