Ngā kawenga | About the role
The Asset Management team delivers a wide range of infrastructure through our Capital Plan. We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team as a Portfolio Coordinator. In this role you will ensure that portfolio processes and controls are defined, implemented, and actioned effectively, supporting the Portfolio Manager in all areas of portfolio management.

**In this role you will also have the opportunity to**:

- Assist the Portfolio Manager in establishing (and maintaining) the portfolio framework and strategy that the programmes will work within, including all controls and tolerances;
- Maintain the portfolio and programme documentation in conjunction with the Portfolio Manager and Business Manager;
- Co-ordinate portfolio reporting to governance groups, management groups and other stakeholders including supporting Programme boards to deliver to portfolio reporting requirements;
- Schedule workshops, meetings and other portfolio-related events, support programmes and projects to maintain EPMO procedures and deadlines.

We are looking for someone who thrives working in a busy team, demonstrates initiative and uses their strong interpersonal skills to build rapport. You'll have great attention to detail and strong prioritisation and time management skills as well.
- Experience working within a portfolio or programme/project environment (or similar)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated administration and analytical experience in a corporate environment and/or public sector environment
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of programmes, in particular Word, Excel and Project, experience with our P3 tool Sentient or similar would also be beneficial.
