It’s an exciting time at Z and there is plenty to talk about We have a rare opportunity to join our skilled, passionate, and tight-knit Communications team as a Mātanga Whakawhitiwhiti Whakaaro Communications Specialist. Reporting into our Head of Communications you will support our Internal and External Communications Managers, take the lead on managing relationships with external providers and oversee a media communications calendar.

**You will have the opportunity to**
- Work across both internal and external communications as well as support government relations and media work
- Take the lead on our relationships with external suppliers
- Contribute to our digital communications, both within Z and externally
- Support with some administrative work within the team
- Keep our Z website up to date
- Step up to support functions of the team as needed

**Qualifications**:
**What you’ll bring to Z**
- Experience in either internal or external communications in a private or public sector environment
- Eagerness to embrace a new challenge and learn
- A collaborative approach to work, this role will work across the Communications team
- Knowledge of content management systems
- Exposure to the workings of government would be helpful but not essential
- The ability to build and manage relationships both at Z and externally

The base salary range for this role is $96,475 to $113,500 per annum, plus 15% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
