Te Kura Umanga | UC Business School supports its ākonga | students and graduates to not only achieve academically but also to develop attributes related to employability and entrepreneurship, bicultural confidence, global awareness and engagement with the community.

As Student Advisor you will provide accurate and timely academic advice to current and prospective ākonga | students in Te Kura Umanga | UC Business School. You will be the contact person for students with disabilities, Māori, and Pasifika enrolled in UC Business School awards, as well as provide support to the Associate Dean (Academic) and Academic Services Manager with activities related to enrolment, admissions, marketing, and outreach.

You have experience in a similar role providing degree-planning advice to tertiary students. You have experience in a tertiary environment and understand university systems, processes, and regulations.

It's important that you are an engaging person who enjoys supporting students from a range of different backgrounds.

You understand ethics, confidentiality, and pastoral care of students. You have a can-do attitude, can work effectively, and have attention to detail even if working to tight deadlines.
