We are looking for a Technical Specialist (TS) to join the Platforms Tīma (Team). You will need to be a keen squad player with great attitude, who oozes with 'star quality', and overall is keen to progress their career in a professional tīma. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide technology-based services in a DevOps/Agile culture incorporating design, maintenance and support of technological solutions to meet business needs. This TS role fits into the Network End point security layer.

Based in Auckland in our Queen Street Branch the NCIS hapū has a great heartbeat score from our people for getting opportunities to grow in your role. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office, Wednesday and either Tuesday or Thursday being the anchor days.

**What are five day-to-day tasks the person will complete?**
- Collaborate with the various endpoint owned product tīmas, ensuring all BNZ owned endpoints are available securely.
- Working with Endpoint owners to onboard new products/models.
- We are maturing our security model, developing additional security layers.
- Contributing to a shared focus on continual improvement.
- Participating in agile ceremonies including stand up, retrospective, planning and demonstration.
- Undertaking collaborative related activities to assist the tīma to deliver on its commitments.

I really enjoy helping people achieve their goals. So, on a 1:1 level, I focus on personal development and helping people to push outside their comfort zones, as well as connecting people with complementary skills.

I also focus on working with tīmas to get their tīma culture working for them and creating a safe and motivating space to experiment and learn together.

**What tech skills are required for this role?**
- 1-2+ year practical infrastructure experience in any of the following networking, endpoint security like Radius, TACACS+, Cisco ISE.
- Significant experience in managing technologies, associated risks working in multiple technical tīmas.
- Ability to troubleshooting complex issues across multiple components.
- Experience with Ansible/ Automation tools.
- An interest in operational security.
