**About the role**:
Working in our Custody business, the Senior Business and Reconciliations officer plays a key role in reviewing and managing compliance obligations, client documentation, and reporting, together with providing independent overview of our reconciliation processes, ensuring a high degree of service excellence for our clients.

As a senior member of the Custody team here is what you will be doing:

- Managing a rolling monthly schedule of reconciliations over all transaction types and clients, maintaining audit records to track and monitor discrepancies, and providing independent oversight of month end reconciliations..
- Ensuring ongoing compliance in respect to our AML/CFT and FATCA obligations, continually monitoring our adherence with regulation, and managing the remediation of client documentation as required..
- Managing client static information, documentation, and files in core systems, including preparation of annual client file reviews.
- Facilitate, and make recommendations on the improvement of Custody processes and procedures; taking ownership for the maintenance and updating of Custody processes and procedures on the Public Trust Knowledge Library.
- Take a lead role in Custody projects, undertaking testing of changes on core Custody systems, and liaising with relevant internal business partners as needed.
- Assist where required with the completion of business reporting

**About you**:
Your extensive experience within Custodial services, or in a service/client operational environment, provides you with a strong understanding of securities, investment, and fund accounting processes, and with it the ability to identify areas for process improvement, taking a proactive verse reactive approach.

As an enthusiastic self-starter, you will be valued for your efficient communication skills and ability to confidently engage with internal and external stakeholders.

In addition to the above, you will be:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong time and self-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, at times within tight timeframes.
- Customer centric work ethic, coupled with growth mindset.
- Familiarity with online custody and banking platforms
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance (preferred))
