**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team based in New Plymouth. In your role as the Contract Administrator, you will provide support to the Downer Taranaki Energy team to achieve their contractual and business objectives. Your primary focus will be around the administration of contract variations, oversight of service activity claims reconciliation, invoicing, job-costing, reporting and forecasting.

**Duties will include**:

- Processing of Purchase Orders, Invoices and Payments
- Assisting in administrating the delivery of contract services to our Clients
- Updating of jobs and processing of claims
- Implement organisation and improvement of data filing and data capture systems
- Assisting in the production of financial /KPI/monthly reports
- Job management and data entry
- Other general office administration as required

- Sound numerical skills and an understanding of job costing
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficient administration skills and software literacy - experience with using a large ERP system
- Experienced user of the Microsoft suite of programmes, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
- Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to work with confidence and assertiveness
- Ability to operate in a busy and changing environment, showing sound judgement and a professional approach
- Ability to work unsupervised demonstrating independence and drive - taking on full ownership of your responsibilities
- Team player who supports and actively works towards achieving the team goals
- Technical knowledge of the Electricity / Contracting Industry a key advantage to being successful in the role
