The Opportunity:
As the Technology Assurance Manager, this role will be responsible for providing support across all Technology functions (both management and specialist roles), as well as providing consultation and assurance services to drive both continuous improvement and centre of excellence capability. You will also be responsible for ensuring that Technology processes are used effectively to produce quality deliverables and business outcomes.

About the role:
- Managing a portfolio of technology governance standards, including engaging with relevant control owners, other stakeholders, and meeting on-going requirements.- Managing governance obligations, including key business requirements, implementation requirements, and technology considerations, so as to make sure that the obligations are correctly managed.- Preparing governance assessments, including regular reviews of standards, to understand on-going compliance expectations.- Engaging with Technology Owners to manage their standards and control requirements.- Assisting other 1st Line functions with enquiries relating to governance-related risk incidents and risk issues.- Manage governance obligations through SDLC and Risk-in-Change Assessments, as relating to technology standards.- Identify and manage control development and improvement opportunities and implementation stemming from technology governance standards.- Manage operational risk incidents and issues relating to technology governance standards, including action manager and stakeholder engagement.- Manage audit engagement with internal and external auditors.- Manage Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities, including DR, and make sure that BCM activities are accurate and complete.

About you:
Ideally you with have 5years+ experience in a similar role, working within a core technology organisation or within the insurance industry. You will be a Certified Internal Auditor and hold a Certification in Risk Management Assurance.

SLDC experience is required and ITDR experience is preferred, however, not essential.

In addition to the above, you will be customer focused, have superior interpersonal skills and be self-motivated. This role will require you to be an expert in your field and to work with mínimal supervision. You will have the ability to build strong relationships with those you interact with and you will demonstrate excellent negotiation and strong influencing skills.
