**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

The South Island Regional Radiology (SIRRS) Applications Specialist is part of a team responsible for delivering the successful operation and use of the South Island Regional (SIR) Radiology clinical systems that include the RIS (Radiology Information System) and the PACS (Picture Archiving & Communication System). Success encompasses empowering and supporting users in the effective safe use of these systems.

**_ The Role:_** Where you fit in**

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Providing expertise of radiology systems to the clinical teams across the South Island
- Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance over the phone or in the call
- logging software
- Ensuring incidents are prioritised and escalated where necessary to ensure satisfactory resolution in a timely manner
- Ensuring customers receive a helpful and informative service
- Participating in a 24/7 after-hours on-call roster.

Your skills will include:

- Project experience with agile or Kanban methodologies
- Experience working in a large organisation and/or in a pressured ever-changing environment
- Desirable - A relevant tertiary level qualification
