**The Opportunity**:
Due to growth, they are now looking for an experienced Software Architect (Cloud) to join their team and help them design resilient, scalable and fault tolerant solutions for the business. The technology environment is large and complex, so this is a great opportunity to stretch yourself both commercially and technically. The culture within the team is such that you can feel comfortable putting forward your ideas, knowing they will be listened to, discussed and actioned.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Participate in roadmap planning with Stakeholders, Architecture Group and Product Owners to maintain an architectural runway and ensure architectural impediments to team refinements are removed.
- Work with Project Teams to develop solution designs that meet the business objectives, the technical strategy and offer elegant simplicity.
- Participate in Agile refinements with development teams ensuring solutions are consistent with the software architecture direction.

**You will have**:

- At least two years in Architecture roles for cloud native solutions with experience including:

- AWS PaaS and Serverless (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS)
- Security and BCP in cloud environments
- Microsoft Azure DevOps
- A strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design, Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices and REST API principles to deliver modern API-centric digital experiences.
- Proven ability to discover business requirements, evaluation approaches, clearly document ideas, scope and design.
- Agile development experience.
- .Net Development (C#,.Net Core) and experience in a legacy environment.
- AWS Certification is desirable.
