Are you a seasoned professional seeking a dynamic role that combines leadership, technical expertise, and process enhancement? Look no further As a vital member of our Accounting and Operations team, you’ll lead by example, providing guidance and leveraging your in-depth accounting knowledge to empower the wider team. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the daily payment and receipt processes for our New Zealand operations. If you thrive on driving process improvements and ensuring operational efficiency, this role is tailor-made for you. Change is constant, whether it stems from external market shifts or internal initiatives. You’ll engage with senior management, simplifying complex reporting and technical accounting matters and will have a keen understanding of business risks and effective risk management. Additionally, collaborating closely with the Manager of Governance and Financial Control on future projects will be a key aspect of your role.

**Ōu Pūkenga | About You**

To be successful in this role, you’ll have the following:

- A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong working knowledge of banking and payment systems
- Demonstrable experience in handling intricate banking complexities is crucial.
- Results orientated with a strong delivery focus
- Deadlines matter, and your meticulous approach ensures accuracy and compliance.
- Excellent at translating business goals into actionable strategies.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or someone qualified by experience (ACA, CA, CPA, or equivalent)
