**About the role**
Our two new villages in Christchurch, The Palms and Merivale Village based close by in Shirley and St Albans, require a sales superstar to sell our exceptional units. This is a brand-new role for these villages and we are after a target driven, resilient, knowledgeable sales professional to step into the role and make it their own. Based onsite at either village, on offer is a permanent position working 32 hours per week. We are flexible how you spread your workdays out whether 4 days a week or 5 short days as we know you will be focused on utilising your time to generate leads and sales.

**Some of the great things you will be doing**
- Establish and actively manage a data base of sales prospects, networking with the wider community and form ongoing relationships with prospective residents to feed the sales pipeline and deliver on sales outcomes.
- You are first and foremost selling units and with that comes the village lifestyle, therefore understanding your prospects, what they value, and their emotional drivers are key
- Work collaboratively with a number of stakeholders within the development team, to develop sales and marketing strategies unique to your village
- Shape the culture and bring our Metlifecare's new development to life
- Contribute and help New Zealanders establish rewarding, beautiful retirement lifestyles

**About you**
- Experience growing and nurturing a pre-sales data base
- Commercially minded, you must have a collaborative, solutions-based approach to selling as well as the aptitude to create and execute a sales plan
- Self-motivated, results driven and passionate about the product and services we are selling, you will be able to meet our customers' requirements and achieve challenging company-set sales targets and budgets
- You will understand the importance of targets, sales reporting and CRM.
- Experience in the real estate, property development, retirement industry or a deep and long sales background selling intangible products would be an advantage
