**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

We’re looking for a Personal Insurance Consultants to join our dynamic and engaging team. You will be based at either **Auckland **(Sylvia Park/Albany), **Christchurch **or **Palmerston North**. This role allows you to work from both home and the office. You’ll be the first point of contact for new and existing customers and focused on converting enquiries into the right cover and outcomes.

As an Insurance Consultant you will put the customer at the centre of everything, we do insure what is more important to them.  You will achieve by taking Inbound calls from new and existing customers to proactively identify their personal insurance needs and value opportunities. 

**Hours and Training**:
**This is a Hybrid role that allows you to work from both home and office - minimum 2 days from the office are expected on a weekly basis or as per business needs. **

We lock in rosters over a two-week period and one weekend is completely free Your 37.5 working hours per week are within 5 days across Monday to Sunday (anywhere between 7am to 8pm in the weekdays, 7:30am to 6.30pm on weekends). 

You will undergo 5 weeks full time training starting Monday - Friday 8:30 - 17:00.  The training will be delivered in a virtual classroom.  You will be required to come into the office during some of your training period where you will be supported by our training managers and work along side your colleagues in person 

Our next intake starts **April 2024.**

Please note: To work from home, you’ll need: high speed internet connection and a private home office set up and be within one hour’s drive from our office locations in Auckland (Albany & Sylvia Park), Christchurch.

**Ōu Pūkenga | About You**
- Prior experience in a high demand customer service role (hospitality, retail or similar)
- Experience achieving results, meeting goals and exceeding KPIs
- Ability to work autonomously in a virtual working environment
- Customer service experience, including managing complaints and negotiations
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative, resilience, courage and the ability to problem solve
- Happy to work from home engaging with your team via instant messaging and the office when required.
