As a HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in providing strategic HR support and guidance to senior leaders and managers in the organization. Based in our headquarters in Albany, Auckland you will work closely with key stakeholders across the globe to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support our overall business objectives.

Success in this role looks like effectively retaining high-potential talent, aligning HR strategies with other departments to support overall business objectives, and cultivating a highly engaged workforce, leading to increased performance and job satisfaction.

We are looking for a partner to be an ambassador of our organization, protecting the reputation and ensuring all employees are living and breathing our core values of Exploring, Thriving and Creating a better world together.

Furthermore, you will have:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications - ideally in HR, Psychology or Business Management
- 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably within a technology environment.
- Natural ability to build and manage relationships across all business levels
- Strong understanding of of Employment Law or In-depth understanding of our New Zealand employment legislation - you will need to be able to interpret the laws and relate it “back” to our business needs.
- Previous experience working with ER and confidence in advising on ER matters is considered advantageous
- Ability to provide effective HR operational support across this portfolio, such as talent and succession management, performance management, improving team experience, building capability and supporting key annual processes, such performance and reward.
- Experience building leadership capability through coaching, advising and facilitating relevant leadership development content as required.
- Excellent verbal, written and documentation skills
- Experience managing and working with multiple teams and concurrent streams of work Ability to learn, grow and improve together, through new methods of thinking to thrive for results for our team.
