We are looking for two senior advisors who are passionate about identifying and harnessing opportunities that enhance our organisational performance, assurance and accountability to enable the Commission to lead the Public Service in the service of New Zealand and New Zealanders.
About the Team
Ranga Whakaū Whakaritenga Organisational Performance and Assurance provides leadership and trusted advice to ensure the Commission can effectively deliver on its mission as a high-performing organisation - whilst maintaining trust and confidence, and keeping our people safe, secure, and accountable.
Your Opportunity
In your role as Senior Advisor, you will have the flexibility, knowledge and experience to contribute to one or more of the following portfolios: planning and performance, health, safety and wellbeing, business continuity including emergency management planning, protective security, risk management and assurance. As a trusted influencer, you will possess strong relationship management skills to build productive working relationships and you will bring a positive mindset to the team with a ‘can do' attitude and a strong desire to make a difference.
Skills and Experience
**We are looking for someone who has**:
- Well-developed critical thinking skills and analytical ability
- Able to coordinate input from multiple parties to deliver fit-for-purpose outputs and work effectively in a matrix management structure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and succinctly
- Māori Crown Relationship competencies to the comfortable level or demonstrate the willingness to develop these
- A personal commitment to the code of conduct and the spirit of service.
- A strong customer service ethic
This position usually pays between $103,200 to $125,700 depending on skills and experience.
