As 2IC you will be assisting our Service Deli Manager with communicating and organizing the day to day running of the department in order to achieve the highest possible standards of service, product range and quality. Our vision is to "continually improve ourselves to ensure we provide the best customer experience in Mid Canterbury".

**Skills and Attributes required for this position are**:

- Previous experience in leadership would be an advantage.
- A commitment to superior customer service.
- Initiative and integrity.
- Excellent presentation, communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to be imaginative and innovative.
- Ability to prioritise and multitask to consistently meet deadlines.
- Physically fit - not a desk job.
- Ensure departmental compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
