Ko tā mātou mahi | Our Role
As part of our exciting growth, we are looking to add a Senior Analyst Strategic Analysis and Financial Modelling to join a team of talented analysts focused on transforming data to fit for purpose information that adds value to management decision making. This is an opportunity to straddle financial analysis and accounting. You will work alongside key influencers from across the business.

**Some of your main areas of focus in this role will include**:

- Taking ownership of our long term financial plan model, running regular updates and finding enhancements to the model
- Utilising modelling and analytical tools and processes to produce financial and data models to aid business decision making
- Delivering assessment and analysis of organisational short and long term drivers to determine financial impact to the organisation
- Building and maintaining good collaboration with key stakeholders, internal customers and delivery units (Strategy Finance & Policy, Place-based teams)
- Identifying key data sources and utilising data-driven insights about important Kāinga Ora metrics and providing findings to improve business decisions
- Presenting complex findings using compelling visual aids and communicating summaries and key takeaways from detailed analysis.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
In order to be successful in this role, in addition to your relevant tertiary qualification (ideally in Finance or Accounting) you will demonstrate:

- Advanced financial modelling skills ideally backed up by experience as a practicing accountant
- The ability to identify, collect, organise and analyse complex data to provide information and enable decision-making. Specifically, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to read and interpret financial reporting to provide insight and understanding of underlying drivers and relationships
- Commitment to fostering good stakeholder relationships through consultation and partnership
- Demonstrated ability to use sound judgement to make informed decisions
- The ability to earn trust and respect through behaving in a professional manner and using discretion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
