**Job Description**:
**Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role**

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Analyst to join our Development group. In this role, you will provide expert level analysis to support the development of supply and demand opportunities. You will also contribute directly to commercial decisions related to this work. This role has a wide breadth of opportunity and responsibilities, here are a few of the important ones:
**Market analysis**
- Providing in -depth analysis of domestic and global energy market trends to identify key supply and demand growth opportunities.

**Technical expertise**
- Providing a high level of service, technical expertise, and commercial advice to key stakeholders. Enhancing the company’s business success and financial performance by delivering business plans and targets, operational efficiencies, and cost management programs

**Qualifications**:

You will be a natural communicator, with the ability to tell a clear story to our business and key stakeholders. To compliment this, you will also have plenty of examples where you excel in:

- Knowledge of New Zealand and international energy markets
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate the business’s needs and develop or recommend solutions.
- Ability to clearly convey complex information to different audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
