Ko tā mātou mahi | Our Role
As part of our exciting growth, we are looking to add a Lead Analyst Strategic Analysis and Financial Modelling to join a team of talented analysts focused on transforming data to fit for purpose information that adds value to management decision making. This is an opportunity to straddle financial analysis and accounting. You will be the key influencer on long-term financial strategic decision for the business.

**Some of your main areas of focus in this role will include**:

- Deliver on the leadership attribute for this role.
- Taking ownership of our long-term financial plan and its satellite models. Drive key conversations with various business stakeholders on evaluating investment pathways.
- Support capital management decisions using combined view on 30- and 60-year view forecasts and scenario analysis to understand the future liquidity position.
- Utilising modelling and analytical tools and processes to produce financial and data models to produce a full financial picture for Kāinga Ora.
- Story telling by using complex financial metrics and findings to both internal (executive teams) and external customers (HUD and NZ Treasury) to aid with better business decision making.
- Building and maintaining good collaboration with key stakeholders to validate business assumptions used in long-term investment planning model.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
To be successful in this role, in addition to your relevant tertiary qualification (ideally CFA or CA equivalent) you will demonstrate:

- An exceptional modeller and communicator to lead our long-term financial planning.
- Knowledge of corporate finance, project economics and financial markets.
- You are confident to present at all levels of the business including board level.
- The ability to identify, collect, organise and analyse complex data to provide information and enable decision-making. Specifically, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to read and interpret financial reporting to provide insight and understanding of underlying drivers and relationships.
- Demonstrated experience with building high level, strategic relationships.
- The ability to earn trust and respect through behaving in a professional manner and using discretion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
