Part time leadership position working Mon-Fri with Christmas off Great work/life balance in a new initiative streamlining Endoscopy offering.
About the role: This role will not suit for those needing a visa as the hours of the position do not comply with government regulations.
This private hospital is seeking an experienced team leader for a part-time Clinical Nurse Lead role within Endoscopy.
There is the opportunity for the right candidate to make it up to 1 FTE with 0.4 FTE within a theatre RN position too.
This position is ideal for a motivated professional who can inspire the team to achieve excellence in delivering high-quality endoscopic care.
The vacancy is part of a new initiative designed to streamline the service and is part of their wider Perioperative services team.
The role is a permanent position working weekdays.
Benefits: Funded health insurance Christmas close down Relocation assistance Competitive remuneration Wellbeing programme CPD allowance What you have to do: Lead, manage and educate the endoscopy team Provide clinically sound theatre assistance Ensure health and safety standards are met Build strong relationships within the organisation including colleagues, managers and other health professionals Promote culturally safe clinical practice with the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi Skills and Experience: Current New Zealand practising certificate In-depth endoscopy experience, with familiarity with GENCA standards and guidelines Expert-level (level 4) PDRP or equivalent certification, or in progress At least five years of post-registration experience, including a minimum of three years in a theatre or endoscopy setting Proven leadership experience in nursing, such as Shift Coordinator, Team Leader, or similar roles with responsibilities for delegation, people management, and team direction Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and positive approach Commitment to culturally safe clinical practice, incorporating Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles into patient care Postgraduate qualifications in healthcare (preferred)This is a really exciting leadership opportunity with great work life balance, apply today
