Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
You will provide high level support to the General Counsel and Company Secretary and Deputy General Counsel and Company Secretary, including management of specific legal, compliance and corporate governance workflows for the Sky City Group and provision of specific advice as a subject‑matter expert.
This is a key in‑house legal role, so you'll provide insight and advice to all areas of our commercial operations such as property, marketing, procurement and IT and you'll assist the business with its corporate, gambling, anti‑money laundering, privacy, liquor licensing and securities compliance obligations.
Mōu | About You
You will have at least 5 years of post‑qualification experience, as well as:
Demonstrated experience in providing legal advice, management of disputes and dispute resolution processes, and evaluating and monitoring the implications of legislation on organisational operations
Advanced knowledge of legislative, commercial common law developments
Advanced contract drafting skills, with attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
Experience in NZX and/or ASX Listing Rules preferred
