This role is responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients seeking to secure mortgages and other types of financing.
The role involves assessing clientsâ financial situations, identifying suitable loan products, and facilitating the loanapplication process.
The Financial Adviser - Mortgage Broker acts as an intermediary between clients and financial institutions, ensuring that clients receive the best possiblefinancial solutions
This job is required to perform: (specific duty tasks)
1.
Client Consultation:⢠Meet with clients to understand their financial needs, goals, and circumstances.⢠Conduct thorough financial assessments to determine clientsâ borrowing capacities.⢠Explain various mortgage products, their terms, and potential benefits to clients.
2.
Loan Product Selection:⢠Identify and recommend suitable mortgage products based on clientsâ financial situations and goals.⢠Compare different loan products from various lenders to find the most favorable terms for clients.⢠Provide clients with detailed information about loan options, including interest rates, repayment terms, and associated fees.
3.
Loan Application Process:⢠Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation.⢠Submit completed loan applications to lenders on behalf of clients.
⢠Follow up with lenders to ensure timely processing and approval of loan applications.
4.
Negotiation and Coordination:⢠Negotiate loan terms and conditions with lenders to secure the best possible deals for clients.⢠Coordinate with real estate agents, solicitors, and other professionals involved in the mortgage process.⢠Keep clients informed throughout the loan application process, addressing any questions or concerns.
5.
Compliance and Risk Management:⢠Ensure all loan applications comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.⢠Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and mitigate financial risks for clients and lenders.⢠Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
6.
Customer Service and Relationship Management:⢠Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and financial advice.⢠Conduct periodic reviews of clientsâ financial situations to offer updated advice and refinance options as needed.⢠Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through personalized and professional service.
7.
Market Research and Networking:⢠Stay updated on market trends, mortgage products, and regulatory changes.⢠Develop and maintain a network of contacts with lenders, real estate agents, and other industry professionals.⢠Attend industry events, workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job⢠A New Zealand or Australia Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.⢠Relevant certifications or licenses as required by NZ regulations.⢠Proven experience in mortgage brokerage, financial advising, or a related field.⢠Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending processes, and financial regulations.
