Tyler Wren has partnered with SBS Wealth to attract their next Senior Financial Adviser to their Auckland team. **Purpose of the role**:
The primary responsibility of this role is to source and manage clients' lump sum investment portfolios for high net worth members working with a wide range of people. In this role, you will be responsible for the investment, monitoring and reporting to investors on the performance of their investment portfolios. You will also assist the management team in the management and training of staff within the territory catchment area on the SBS Wealth product offering.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for portfolio sales and profitability
- Maintain and service the existing client base through business development and retention strategies
- Work closely with the branch network and wider organisation on sales plans and strategies for business development on lump sum investment portfolios
- Maintain up to date knowledge of products, services and internal supporting systems

**About you**:

- 6+ years in sales and service within the investment industry with investment clients, preferably experienced in different market cycles
- Tertiary qualification, bachelor's degree preferred including completed New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services, Level 5 (Investment Strand)
- Proven experience in the understanding of investment portfolios, investment assets and types of portfolio construction
- Strong accuracy of work and attention to detail
- Established professional networks, preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms, and the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Target driven with sound negotiation and decision making skills
- A natural presenter to professional networks
- Strong research, analytical and report writing skills
