We are looking for a talented individual with an interesting and varied 12-month fixed-term opportunity to work at Tower.

Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements for various stakeholders across the business.
Providing legal advice to the business, including Tower claims and recovery teams.
Representing the legal function on key business projects.
Reviewing and advising on marketing collateral.
Interpreting, drafting and reviewing insurance policy wordings.
Assisting with claims responses.
Liaising with Tower’s external legal advisers (as needed).
Success Criteria
Building trusted relationships across the business through clear, practical legal advice.
Demonstrating strong ownership of legal matters with timely and accurate delivery.
Contributing meaningfully to key projects and initiatives as well as to the BAU.
Qualifications
Solicitor holding a New Zealand practising certificate with a minimum of 4 years PQE with experience in major law firms or equivalent in‑house roles (insurance/financial services experience preferred but not essential).
The ability to deal with a wide range of legal issues while maintaining a consistently high level of service.
A strong customer focus and take pride in building relationships with internal and external customers.
