The General Manager, Governance Leadership Centre will lead Io D’s thought leadership, advisory, policy and advocacy programme, set and uphold the highest standards of governance practice and oversee Io D’s continuing professional development and education programmes.
About the role
This role demands intellectual agility and strategic foresight.
The successful candidate will:
Scan global and local trends, distil complex issues and curate insights that matter for directors.
Be nimble yet considered in shaping governance perspectives and influencing policy.
Take a key leadership role in connecting with members, government, regulators, media and stakeholders.
Champion inclusive and culturally responsive governance, including shared leadership of the Io D’s Māori Governance programme.
With Io D’s Council, oversee membership and professional standards as the Registrar.
Inspire and empower a talented team to deliver through collaboration and innovation.
