As General Manager, you will have full P&L ownership and operational oversight of the company.

This is a rare opportunity to run and grow a proven engineering business while steering it into its next phase of scale and sophistication. Your mandate will include:

  • Driving revenue and margin growth while strengthening cash flow stability.
  • Shifting the business towards long-term supply agreements and strategic partnerships.
  • Building high-performing teams and mentoring senior managers into system-builders rather than reactive problem-solvers.
  • Embedding lean manufacturing, scalable processes, and operational discipline to maximize productivity.
  • Exploring new technologies, automation, and advanced engineering solutions to differentiate in the market.

We're looking for a practical, experienced, commercially minded leader who can bring together technical understanding, strong client relationships, and disciplined execution.

The right person will ideally bring:

  • Mechanical understanding: A solid grasp of engineering and manufacturing, with confidence making informed technical and operational decisions.
  • Commercial awareness: Experience quoting engineering projects, protecting margins, and negotiating contracts that create long-term value.
  • Client confidence: Comfortable working closely with industry clients, building trust, and helping shape solutions that solve their problems.
  • Background in engineering or manufacturing: Familiarity with fabrication and jobbing environments will help you succeed from day one.
  • Process mindset: An interest in improving systems, making operations more efficient, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Team leadership: A natural ability to mentor managers, build confidence, and create a positive, accountable culture.
