This pivotal role is responsible for the site’s **profitability, safety, operational performance, and customer satisfaction**, ensuring all activity aligns with company standards and policies. Reporting to the **Regional Operations Director – South**, and leading a team of around **40+ employees**, you’ll be a hands-on leader who can engage and inspire others, drive operational excellence, and foster long-term customer partnerships.# **Key Responsibilities*** Lead and champion Health & Safety to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.* Provide strong, positive leadership—coaching and developing team members to achieve their potential.* Build and maintain successful, profitable relationships with customers and stakeholders.* Identify opportunities for new and existing business growth.* Ensure inventory accuracy and asset maintenance at all times.* Oversee financial performance—managing budgets, costs, and reporting on variances.* Maintain compliance with all Lineage Logistics and regulatory requirements.# **About You**We’re looking for a confident and capable leader who:* Has a strong understanding and commitment to Health & Safety.* Empowers teams to perform at their best.* Ideally brings experience in **logistics, or related industries**.* Is highly organised and detail-oriented.* Is customer-focused and commercially minded.* Is legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
