About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven
General Manager
to lead our
Dunedin
operation. This pivotal role is responsible for the site's
profitability, safety, operational performance, and customer satisfaction
, ensuring all activity aligns with company standards and policies.
Reporting to the
Regional Operations Director – South
, and leading a team of around
40+ employees
, you'll be a hands-on leader who can engage and inspire others, drive operational excellence, and foster long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and champion Health & Safety to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
- Provide strong, positive leadership—coaching and developing team members to achieve their potential.
- Build and maintain successful, profitable relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for new and existing business growth.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and asset maintenance at all times.
- Oversee financial performance—managing budgets, costs, and reporting on variances.
- Maintain compliance with all Lineage Logistics and regulatory requirements.
About You
We're looking for a confident and capable leader who:
- Has a strong understanding and commitment to Health & Safety.
- Empowers teams to perform at their best.
- Ideally brings experience in logistics, or related industries.
- Is highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Is customer-focused and commercially minded.
- Is legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
