Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced ICT Project Manager to join our team at Matariki.
As an ICT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our projects and engaging with our clients to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that align with their needs and expectations.
Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead and manage ICT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources effectively, and monitor project progress to meet deliverables.
Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
Understand clients' business objectives and requirements, and translate them into actionable project plans and deliverables.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
Provide regular project updates, address concerns, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Resource Management: Coordinate resources, including internal team members, contractors, and third-party vendors, to ensure the successful execution of project tasks and milestones.
Manage resource allocation, workload distribution, and performance to optimize project outcomes.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues associated with project delivery, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Proactively assess project risks, dependencies, and constraints, and implement contingency plans as needed.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of project deliverables by implementing best practices and quality standards.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments to validate project requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Budget Control: Monitor project expenses, track budget utilization, and forecast resource requirements to ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising quality or scope.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, methodologies, and tools.
Capture lessons learned from projects and apply insights to optimize future project execution and delivery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in ICT project management, with a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and PMBOK.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence.
PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are preferred.
