- Progressive Communications is looking for an experienced Security /ICT technician to join our team. You will be undertaking a plethora of tasks, primarily in the Security system and Data Cabling but work also includes some IT/Telecommunication related work.

Responsibilities:
- To install and configure CCTV Systems
- To install and configure Alarm systems(Paradox,DSC)
- To install and configure Access control (ICT, Inner Range)
- Must have Experience with Data Cabling
- Have some experience in IT/Networking to Setup Wi-Fi Solutions for Business
- Able to work under pressure and unsupervised.
- To provide technical support over the phone or by visiting the client's premises.

Experience and Requirements:
- Progressive Communications is looking for someone who:
- Has substantial experience in Security and ICT Industry
- Can self-manage and is a solutions person.
- Must have minimum 1 year Industry Experience in CCTV and alarms, Cabling
- Simply, have all the accoutrements of a great employee - A full driver's license, great attitude, and a team player.
- Highest regard for the health and safety of everyone on site, and the public.
- Able to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and mobile elevated work platforms.
- Use health and safety equipment including PPE
- Working in hard-to-reach places including heights, in ceilings and under floors
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral

Required Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
