●        Location: AUCKLAND
●        Job type: Full-time Permanent
●        Number of positions for this job: up to 2
●        Pay rate: from $30-$35 per hour
●        Days required: 5-6 days/week
●        Hours per week: min 30, max 50 hours per week
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
●         Operating and maneuvering excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
●         Excavating and digging trenches, ditches, foundations, and other structures according to project plans and specifications.
●         Loading and unloading materials, such as earth, rocks, debris, and equipment, using the excavator.
●         Performing routine maintenance on the excavator, including lubricating parts, checking fluid levels, and inspecting for damages or malfunctions.
●         Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations while operating the equipment and working on-site.
●         Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth project operations.
●         Following blueprints, maps, and instructions to accurately complete excavation tasks.
●         Monitoring and adjusting the operation of the excavator to maintain productivity and efficiency.
Job Requirement
●         At least three-years relevant prior experience or substitute with a formal qualification
●         A “can-do” attitude
●         Have an eye on details
●         Self-motivated
●         Clean non-criminal record
