You'll play a vital role in performing precise excavation tasks, using hydro vac trucks to expose underground utilities and infrastructure with care and accuracy. If you've got a Class 4 licence, a solid work ethic, and a focus on safety, this is your chance to work alongside the best in Auckland.

What You'll Do

The Goods

  • Operate hydro vac trucks to complete hydro excavation, trenching, daylighting, and debris removal.
  • Expose underground utilities and infrastructure safely and without damage.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on all hydro vac equipment.
  • Work closely with site supervisors and your crew to ensure each project runs smoothly and meets deadlines.
  • Follow strict safety procedures and comply with all company and industry regulations.
  • Complete required documentation and job reports accurately and on time.
  • Support general on-site tasks when required.

What You'll Need

The Essentials

  • Proven experience as a Hydro Excavation Operator or in a similar role.
  • Valid Class 4 Licence.
  • Solid understanding of hydro excavation methods and safe work practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and utility maps.
  • A proactive and reliable attitude with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in a range of environments.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
