Job Title: Early Childhood Program Aide I
Location: G. H. Jewett School, Bucksport, Maine
Pay Range: $16.98 - $17.50
$250 Sign-on bonus
Part-time
Join our team as an Early Childhood Program Aide, supporting teaching staff in creating a nurturing environment for young children. Under the guidance of the Center Coordinator, contribute to the success of our early childhood development program.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and cater to the unique characteristics of individual children.
- Guide children through daily routines, fostering a safe and healthy learning environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development and engage parents in the program.
- Handle special care concerns and participate in nutrition and sanitation activities.
- Support center staff in all activities and share janitorial duties.
- Maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Some experience working with young children required.
- Program Aide II requires DOE Ed. Tech III certification.
- Must pass background checks.
