About the Role:

Supervise and install electrical equipment, as per job instructions and specifications, meeting current regulations and standards. Ensuring optimal reliability and performance of the client's plant and equipment by completing projects and maintenance work on time and to requirements. Installation of PLC, Communications, and SCADA equipment. Ensuring that both Omexom and the client comply with the Contract Agreement. Ability to plan, manage and mentor staff. Coordinate project site logistics. Performing construction work to client specifications. Produce quality assurance documentation and field installation procedures in line with various contract and project specifications. Managing labour to maintain excellent productivity and industrial relations. Ensuring safe working methods and the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment Act are followed and communicated to all staff through regular site meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experienced supervisor with good communication skills (written and verbal). Need to be a NZ registered electrician with a current electrical practicing license and Supervisor Endorsement and/or Electrical Inspector. Ability to work under pressure and to strict time constraints. A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements pertaining to the carrying out of all prescribed electrical work. Proficient computer skills. Ability to liaise with subcontractors, technicians, and project managers. Ability to ensure compliance to industry quality standards.
