We are seeking a talented individual to join our Specialty team at Marsh. This role will be based in Christchurch. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As Risk Advisor you will support client executive/s on a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high quality service is always provided. You will manage a portfolio of accounts and collaborate with colleagues to consistently attain excellent client retention and develop new opportunities.

This is an excellent entry level opportunity for someone who is looking to kick-start their career within the insurance industry.

We will count on you to:

  • Support the management of a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high-quality customer service is provided at all times.
  • Collaborate with client executives and colleagues to implement business plans and achieve service standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision-makers, proactively identifying and addressing client needs.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate production of client-related documentation, including invoices, policy wordings, and renewal reports.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company's systems and procedures, while maintaining awareness of all clients' claim-related matters.
What you need to have:
  • Interest or experience in pursuing a career within the insurance industry.
  • A commitment to obtaining or currently working towards the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 Version 2 or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in account management within the insurance industry.
