Brandt is searching for a Field Service Technician to join our Gisborne team.

If you are a Heavy Diesel Mechanic looking to work with a globally recognised brand, require a challenge, love variety and like working independently with the backing of a supportive team, then we want to hear from you.

About the role:

  • Work independently within our area of responsibility. Our customers are your home base.
  • Perform service and repairs on various John Deere Ag & Construction, Kuhn, Lemken, Kramer and other farming machinery to a high standard.
  • Perform inspections and make recommendations for repairs.
  • Diagnose faults and rectify them according to approved procedures.
  • Undertake ongoing training.

About you:

  • Ability to diagnose faults and failures through modern diagnostic techniques.
  • Ability to perform repairs and recondition vehicle and machinery systems.
  • Be well organised and able to complete paperwork competently.
  • Ability to work in a team and individually.
  • Excellent communication and customer service.
