Job Description
At Green Light Worldwide, we are seeking a skilled Field Services Technician to join our team in Gisborne. As a Field Services Technician, you will play a vital role in providing repair and support services to our clients' hardware and software solutions.
Your main responsibility will be to investigate and diagnose faults, escalating them through to the appropriate group for problem resolution. You will also be required to provide onsite training, advice, and configuration for merchants, as well as build and strengthen working relationships with internal stakeholders to assist in effective resolution of customer faults.
We require individuals who have excellent communication skills, a passion for helping people with their IT-related queries, and experience in a break-fix capacity with both hardware and software solutions. You should be self-motivated, keen learners with fantastic interpersonal skills to maintain excellent customer service levels provided onsite to the business.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting hardware and services onsite break-fix call out as per the client's requirements.
- Investigate and diagnose and escalate the fault through to the appropriate group for problem resolution as per escalation.
- Onsite deployment for a range of payment system upgrades, including full integration with POS systems working with customers to identify problems and advising on the solution.
- EFTPOS Installations, Integration, testing, repairing, and troubleshooting hardware and software.
- Provide onsite training, advice, and configuration for merchants.
- Build and strengthen working relationships with relevant internal stakeholders to assist in effective resolution of customer faults.
Requirements:
- Have a full NZ drivers' license and own vehicle to travel to customer sites. Per KM allowance is provided.
- Demonstrated experience in hardware resolutions.
- Demonstrated highly developed analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and implement creative solutions.
- Excellent telephone, client service, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of technical concepts and willingness to work in a dynamic and high-volume work environment.
