Our client is a multinational organization specializing in insurance brokerage and financial advisory services. With offices worldwide, their primary objective is to help clients reduce their overall cost of risk. They are renowned for providing industry-focused brokerage, consulting, and claims advocacy services.

The Role:
We are seeking a Domestic Insurance Advisor to deliver exceptional claims management services to clients and brokers. This involves providing consulting, advisory, advocacy, and negotiation support.

Job Details:
Contract Duration: 6 months

  • Hourly Rate: $ % accruals
  • Work Location: CBD
  • Hybrid working environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries from clients and brokers and prepare routine and ad hoc reports, including claims trend analysis.
  • Conduct quarterly and/or annual claims reviews.
  • Attend client meetings.
  • Manage basic to moderately complex claims following the company's processes and client agreements, collaborating with the Major Claims Unit when necessary.
  • Interpret policy wordings, analyze claims history data, and conduct investigations.
  • Drive the settlement negotiation process and negotiate on behalf of clients.

Attributes and Skills:

  • Strong desire and ability to identify, understand, and prioritize the needs of external and internal clients.
  • 25 years of experience as an advisor.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, adapting the approach to different audiences.
  • Proactive in accomplishing objectives promptly.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Active participation as a team member, contributing to the achievement of goals.
  • Familiarity with domestic insurance policies.
