We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional on behalf of our client, a regulatory organisation, for a Senior Claims Specialist position.

As a key member of our claims department, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of claims with a focus on delivering exceptional service to customers.

_ Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the endtoend management of complex claims, ensuring prompt and accurate assessment, investigation, and settlement.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to junior claims handlers, fostering a collaborative and highperforming team environment.
  • Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external parties, representing the company's interests with professionalism and integrity.
  • Keep on top of industry developments and regulatory changes, contributing insights and recommendations to enhance our claims management processes.

_Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in insurance claims management, with a focus on commercial lines preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, with a track record of mentoring and developing team members.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in insurance or risk management are desirable.
