What will the role involve?


As a member of the Digital Enablement Team the Asset Information Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and supporting the organization's asset systems.

This position entails a combination of support and new development activities.

The primary focus areas of this role include:

  • Resolve technical problems for the business by developing tasks and process flows within ArcGIS using inbuilt ArcGIS tools, arcade or python
  • Provide technical assistance to the team and wider business by progressing scripts to replace existing workflows
  • Ensure best practice is followed for use of the GIS system and asset data across platforms
  • Configuration and technical support of our Enterprise GIS Platform (ArcGIS)
  • Collaboration with wider team to improve wider Ecosystem Integration

What will you need to bring with you?
To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Appropriate Industry or vendor qualification and/or experience with ArcGIS task creation, Python and/or ArcGIS Arcade
  • Experience using and Administrating ArcGIS Enterprise systems
This is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
