The Data Management and Learner Records (DMLR) team provides operational support and advice on all matters associated with learner records to NZQA staff, secondary and tertiary providers, and students.
The Team is responsible for managing the flow of entry and results data for secondary and tertiary students.DMLR works closely with Schools and Tertiary providers, Software Management System (SMS) Vendors, the Ministry of Education, and other internal and external clients, to ensure quality outcomes for students.
As a Learner Records Advisor, your responsibilities will include:- Managing a portfolio of schools and tertiary providers
- Ensuring the accuracy of entry, results, and qualification data for students
- Assisting with New Zealand Record of Achievement, NCEA and New Zealand Scholarship data and fees related queries
- Providing information, advice, and certificates to external and internal customers
- Identifying areas of opportunity to improve internal processes and customer experience
- Providing administrative support to maintain integrity of New Zealand Record of Achievement
If you have....
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Great interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with a diverse range of people
- Previous customer service experience
- Understanding of privacy requirements when handling personal information
- A high level of data accuracy
- The ability to deal with tight deadlines in a changing environment
- Passion for learning new systems and problem solving
- An understanding or interest in the education sector
